Arbitror sees the world neither as a monolithic “big picture” nor as disparate parts, but instead as an ever-changing network of ideas, actors, and transnational forces.

Vladimir Chlouba is a contributor for Arbitror and currently a PhD student of political science at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
He originally hails from Louny, Czech Republic and always loves to go back to his hometown. On the other hand, he strongly values the opportunity to travel, study, and make friends all over the world.
Vladimir did his undergraduate work at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut (Bachelor of Arts, 2016), but he also spent several months at the University of Mannheim in Germany and the University of Namibia in the university's namesake.
Vladimir focuses his postgraduate work on topics of political economy and ethnic conflict in sub-Saharan Africa. However, his wider writing rightly suggests that his interests span across a number of disciplines including economics, political science, and political philosophy.
